Abstract

Background : Nursing services are the main thing that must be considered, maintained and improved in quality in accordance with applicable nursing service standards, so as to create trust, loyalty and form patient satisfaction. Objective : to determine the relationship between the quality of nursing services and patient satisfaction in the inpatient room at Murni Teguh Sudirman Hospital, Jakarta. Method : the design in this research is correlational analytic with a cross sectional approach. Results : Based on the results of the Spearman Rank correlation test, a significant value of 0.000 (p-value < 0.05) was obtained, which means there is a relationship between the quality of nursing services and patient satisfaction in the inpatient room at Murni Teguh Sudirman Hospital, Jakarta. Conclusion : there is a relationship between the quality of nursing services and patient satisfaction in the inpatient room at Murni Teguh Sudirman Hospital, Jakarta. Suggestion: for future researchers to increase the number of research samples and add other variables such as family support and service quality, nurse workload and service quality.
